I’m tweaking things on the site I’m working on to look good on mobile, but just when I have it all looking ok, I’ll look at the site on my Note 9 and things will still look really janky in places.
Any suggestions on what the problem might be? I get that on a higher-end phone the bigger screen/higher resolution is a factor, but I was under the impression that it should basically auto-adjust between different phones, seeing as how they’re all still quite similar in how the appearance of the site is going to be affected by the screen size.
This has been absolutely amazing – so anxious to learn more. I was hoping to get some help on one edit. In the Contact Us widget in the footer, the email and website names show up in white. But the phone number is greyed out. How can I modify the text to be white. Many thanks again.

What is nice is that you are learning to build a real live website, not just a shell like most other videos. This website just happens to be a collection of Bethany’s travel recommendations and travel tips, but what you learn can be applied to any website. As for her being clickbait, Bethany also plays a huge part in the success of my videos. She is the one that designed the original website for the video, provided all the content, and jointly developed the website. She also (with a small amount of protest) does the intro within the video and helped edit and finalize the video project before the video was released. She is also my wife and, as you have noticed, she also doubles as click bait 🙂
